Friday. 3.19.10 3:50 am Some words about my spring break so far.
tired, exciting, kansas city, plaza, children's book, Barnabus, late-night Clue, St Patrick's Day, prayer walks, Taboo, Apples to Apples, "...so stupid", Rock Band, Lady GaGa
But mostly, especially at 3:48am, very tired.

and the LG Rumor2 from Virgin Mobile.
They are both going for $99 at the moment.
The plan I would choose if I went with AT&T is their "$.25 Simple Plan" which charges 25¢/minute for talk, plus $19.99/mo. unlimited texting package and either $4.99/mo 1MB or $19.99/mo. 100MB data package, for a total of $25-40+ a month.
The plan I would choose if I went with Virgin Mobile is their "Texter's Delight" plan that includes 10¢/minute talk, a $19.99/mo unlimited texting package, and $5/mo for 20MB or $10/mo for 50MB data package, for a total of $25-30+ a month.
The question seems to be more about which phone I'd prefer. The money I'd be paying for services per month are so close, except in the data package prices. I have no idea how many MB I'd be using on either phone, so I don't know which would be more appropriate for me. I think it's ridiculous, though, that AT&T's data packages only come in two sizes: maybe not enough (1MB) to perhaps too much (100MB). I don't like that there's no in-between option. :/
Does anyone have any experience with either of these phones or prepaid services?
I'm thinking about perhaps visiting an AT&T store, or seeing if they have any LG Neons on display at Walmart or someplace. Maybe at Walmart or Target there'll be a LG Rumor2 on display, too. That'd be nice, so I could get a handle on 'em to see if I like the feel of one over the other. Comment! (4) | Recommend! | Rate! | Categories: phone [t], shop [t] Did you like it? Recommend it! Is it spring break yet??? Wednesday. 3.10.10 11:17 pm Yesterday I saw Alice In Wonderland in IMAX 3D with my little brother and sister. (We made sure we saw it during the week when admission is only $5 at AMC, so the added charge for IMAX wouldn't be such a financial blow.)
The effects were AMAZING, as expected. I also liked that Burton didn't go over all the same stuff other known Alice In Wonderland films had. (Then again the only ones I know of are the Disney animated version and the tv miniseries with Deb from Napoleon Dynamite as Alice.) I haven't read the book(s) so I have no idea if Burton just took a new angle on it, or made something up, but it seemed to work for this film.
Next week is spring break for me. I have two essays due Saturday, some homework I need to at least look at by tomorrow afternoon, must finish reading Great Expectations by Friday and try to do some research for a project due in a couple weeks.
Why is it that in the last few days before holiday are the hardest to do anything? I have so much to do! X/
(And so, of course, I come here and blog about all the things I should be doing instead....)

For example, I have been doing some web searching for a defunct band called Plus One. Specifically, I was looking for any sellers of their first video they put out called "The Home Video" (seeing as I already have the DVD promoting their sophomore album.)

During my search, I found a facebook group for über Plus One fans, a youtube clip from when they appeared in the TV show "Touched By An Angel" and a blog entry stating a previous band member's current job location.
I love the internet. Comment! (3) | Recommend! | Rate! | Categories: blog [t], music [t], internet [t] Did you like it? Recommend it! |
