HAPPY
HALLOWEEN!

my favorite Making Fiends episode.
I'll update this in a few minutes after I get home from work. da-dunn!
Edit 10:22pm
I never did come back and 'update'. I went home after work, ate lunch, then went around and began my Christmas shopping. Yes, that's right
Christmas shopping. I like getting it done early so I don't have to think about it anymore. ha.
Today, I dressed as a "bohemian" (er, that's what my dad called it. I didn't have any better ideas, so I'm just using his name for it). I wore a pair of toe socks with my Birkenstock-esque sandals, jeans, this 60s-African-ish knit top, and what earthy jewelry I could find in my jewelry box. My initial idea was to be a hippie, but I couldn't find anything in my closet that would really work with that, so I just kinda put that stuff on and went like that. The only one that noticed was my dad and a woman at work who is the Children's Librarian. The toe socks was the only thing that gave it away. Oh well.
I was going to post pictures, but I rather forgot about it by the time I got home.
When I walked into Borders bookstore today, I was pleasantly surprised. The location I usually visit was remodeling some last time I went in, and have apparently finished. One of the first things I saw when I came in, after walking a little to the left towards the café area, was a big Paperchase section. I was
instantly excited.
Paperchase is a British paper & stationary company that makes paper goods and fun accessories and things that Borders carries. Until recently, the store I go to only carried a few tables of some of their products, but now they have a few isles. I spent a good 20 minutes or so just browsing that little section with all the fun new things they had on display. I bought a few things today... and I
will be back for more.
At Borders I bought a bunch of stuff. Mostly Paperchase things, including but not limited to an iPod cover (I'll take a photo of the design to show you later) and a mouse pad, Bleach volume 21,
Sew What! Skirts... - a book for my best friend for Christmas, "monkeys" key covers, and
Oh! Inverted World by The Shins (which was on sale for $9.99 - SCORE!).
I also went to Hobby Lobby today and bought a bunch of stuff. I bought a couple stamps for Christmas cards, some fun scrapbooking paper, a scrapbook book set (three different books in three different sizes: 12"x12", 8"x8" and 4"x6"), glue and some candles (50% off!). Tomorrow, I am going to make some more cards. I'd scrapbook some, but I'm going to go through the pictures on my computer and pick some to print out and do that before I begin pasting them to paper. (Because most of my photos are all digital - I hardly have ANY "real" photographs.)
If you're lucky, you'll have some photos by the end of the week.
Have a good November, everyone! =)

I have never heard of Paperchase before I guess I will look out for it the next time I drop into Borders. I feel lucky so I look forward to your pictures.
I know I am weird. Some of my friends even think that I'm a little crazy.

I can picture the one night stand.
I ended up being a "HELLO" sticker sheet. I didn't take pictures but my friend did. If I ever get a hold of that picture I'll try to put it on photobucket or something. It wasn't a successful costume, but it was cheap and different.
