Living On A Prayer - "Slippery When Wet" by Bon Jovi
My Labor Day Weekend:
Okay.
Saturday I worked at Aéropostale all afternoon.
Sunday I went out with my best friend Angie who was home for the weekend. We mostly just went to the mall to find some stuff she needed for school, which came to no avail. Then I met up with Cory and we hung out at Target and stuff 'til church. Then afterwards we went to Dairy Queen with some of the other kids who had filled up a couple tables by the time we got there, so we sat at another table thinking a couple people who were after us would come sit with us. They didn't, they just crammed themselves in the already packed tables. But anyways.
Monday I had to work @ Aero again (being a temp means I work weekends and holidays - woohoo), and afterwards Cory came over and we had burgers that Dad grilled out in the backyard. That was nice. =)
After cleaning up after dinner, and standing around talking for a while, we (er,
I, technically...) decided to go rent a movie. We got
The Island and
Disturbia. We watched the latter. It was really good. I liked it a lot. It was like a modernized
Rear Window. Fun! Exciting! Thrilling! An experience to be had by all!.... who like that sort of thing. But anyways.
Today could have been better. After getting off work (at the library), I headed home 'cause Mom wanted me to do somethin' at the house before I left to go over to Cory's. When I got there I found out, to my surprise, that Mom had left for an orthodontist appointment, and Dad was leaving for an interview, so I had to wait until Mom got back to actually leave. So I had to sit at home for an extra thirty minutes or so, thus shortening my precious time with Cory. (My parents wanted me home "at a reasonable hour that isn't night. Say around 7..." wth?!) Well, by the time Mom finally came home, I left as soon as I could. And she said I had to be home by 8. (what happened to 7? idk, but I didn't risk saying anything)
Blah blah blah; but anyways.
When I was at Cory's earlier, we watched
Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. So far, every time I've been over at his house, we've watched a movie that is essential for everyone to watch that I haven't seen. The previous movies we watched are:
•
Talladega Nights - The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
•
Dodgeball
And... that's all I can remember right now. I know there's at least ONE more, I just can't recall it. hmph...
So, yes!
Right now, I'm kind of re-arranging my links bar on my browser to sites I actually go to, or would like to regularly go to. And integrating more of my general browsing with my "iGoogle" (home?)page. And stuff.
Now I'm going to go mess around with AllRespect. Mostly 'cause I haven't been on it for a while, and I feel I should be more active on it.

Did you like it? Recommend it!
Haha Stooping thing I noticed: you said "but anyways" tres times! :O Only I could be so anal.
I thought the beginning of Disturbia was slow...but it was a good movie overall. The only one I haven't seen of the 5 you mentioned is The Island...and I think I might have seen the Ace Venture one but I'm not sure. All very good...shake and bake!
I'm afraid of having people over to my house just to hang out, let alone dinner. My parents are not normal, I swear.

ooh, ooh I like your new site. I mean, layout. XD My bad. Anyway, don't pay attention to the-muffin-man, there's nothing wrong with the word anyway. NOTHING. Lord knows I use it all the time. Anyway, (shutup, muffin-man) you work at Aero? Awesome. I've been looking for a job. Hmm...
I need to watch more movies. But you know why I can't. ={ No dinero for such prices. ;_;

I haven't seen any of those three movies. I did see an illegal copy of the simpsons the otherday with my roommate and his kid sister.

I too enjoyed Disturbia. I love Rear Window and I thought it was a fun update. It also reminded me of The 'Burbs, a hilarious Tom Hanks movie form the 80s. Back when he was still funny.

Heh, well, I actually "discovered" Radiohead quite a while ago. Just never looked into the matter any further.

haha Yeah, guy's screwing up our system. No one likes him, we all hate 'em. The only ones unaware of this problem are the freshies. It's all going DOWN...the drain. *flush* ;D
